this is heidi the brave, hero of finland.
if all goes well, you'll laugh and your belly will hurt.

today at work i printed out little teeny tiny streetsigns.
i need to shoot my town footage so i can move it, so i can shoot other footage
so i can move that stuff, so i can shoot poem time footage so i can finish
my trailer. i keep all this stuff in one room in my basement
and there isn't that much room left.

here is a sign on a lamppost.

here are more signs. if one payed attention to the signs, they would notice
that they could perhaps cause confusion.

this is my potato cannon. tonight i painted it. i will paint racing stripes
or something on it very soon. this is in the very beginning when my character is introduced.
I HOPE YOU'LL FIND IT INTERESTING.

hello.
today i tested out the way i wanted to shoot a scene. i wanted to tape the footage
then play it back on a very small television, then tape that television. it turned out neat.

when i was younger, about 18 years younger, i was in the boy scouts.
and when in the boy scouts i went to boy scout camp.
and when at boy scout camp i shot a .22 caliber rifle
i also snagged as many shells as i could cause i thought shells were cool.

now since then these shells has been held captive. stuck in the barrel of a fake musket
used for reenactments. tonight i remembered they were there, and with the ferocity
of a man on a mission i was finally able to retrieve them.

i wanted these shells because my little deringer would take bullets of this size
if my deringer were real. i wanted the gun to look "realer" so perhaps next to real bullets
it would look realer. perhaps.

what i did with these shells was pack them full of sculpey and round the tops.
then i cooked it for 7 minutes at 275 degrees.

while they were cooking i went down and ruined another 2 dremel bits
sanding off the "made in china" part of the deringers. the next time i invest in a dremel
it's going to be a real dremel and not some cheap piece of shit dremel.
every bit i've used i've destroyed and i didn't even really ask that much of them either.
"please sand this"
"okay man, OH WAIT FUCK YOU"
that's what it says to me.

when the bullets were cooked i then taped up the cases and spraypainted them silver.

this is what my little deringer and the bullets look like together. adorable.

i had been given 3 tasks. create a movie poster. create a dvd of all of my youtube videos
and create a new trailer for the film. i have completed 2 out of these three and this is something
i feel good about.

there are so many things involved with making this project. it's alot of work. it's alot of fun
but sometimes it gets difficult. i am very grateful for the opportunity.

mike and ann got themselves married this weekend. this frame above is from the film. it's a flashback.
something goes funny in the film and when i'm wondering why, this scene will come up.
i hope you'll find it funny.

this is a screen from the dvd i made with an evening shot of my little town in it.

this is another screen from the dvd. i am pleased how it turned out.

additionally
if you would like a jeremiah desktop for your computer
the picture below is 1440x1080
you can right click it and save it and have a desktop with jeremiah on your computer
and it will be fun.
bye.

june 21st

this is some blooper footage from calgary featuring dave teatro, colby breen, myself and talia kaufman.

june 20th

today was a slow day at work for most of the day
slow days are few and far between where i work, but when they happen
i have alot of time to make print props.

below are booklets of poetry that my character publishes on his own
because nobody will publish him. these will be shown in a sequence
and all of these booklets will make like..1 or two jokes. i hope they are funny.

i also made moon stationary today. this is for a special character. he lives on the moon

i have been asking around the internet peoples opinions about my poster choice
images and it seems the popular vote is this one

so when i get the copy straightened up. MISSION 1 ACCOMPLISHED

june 19th

hello.
today colby and i shot pictures for my second idea for movie posters.
i have one more, but it'll require a little more work.
BUT IT'LL BE AWESOME!

june 18th

hello.
today i took some pictures for one idea i had for movie posters. i have 2 more ideas and i'll take those pictures maybe tomorrow.
above are the five silliest pictures out of the 80 or so.

i've also completed tammy tomato's bedroom pretty much. in the next day or two i'll shoot what i need to shoot
there and bye bye bedroom, hello space!

i made a little table for her today as well as a lamp, and at work i printed out various picture of
legumes and puppies to hang around her room. very tomato-ey

i even printed out a stack of miniature tiger beat magazines to scatter around.
i thought they were classy. goodnight.

june 17th

hi.
so today i worked on tammy tomatos room. i made her bed today as well as some records
to have lying around.

here is tammy enjoying a sit down in her new bed. this room will be packed full of miniature girl shit
as soon as i can figure out what belongs here. i think i'll put some frilly crap on the top of the canope.

here is the record player with some records. the tonearm actually keeps the record
from flying off the turntable when it's whizzing really quickly so i guess it serves a pretty
cool purpose. i go to bed now ok goodnight.

brain = cooked

i ran into a bit of a snag and decided it was time for me to learn a little bit more about
basic electronics so i went out and got a "learn basic electronics" set from radio shack.
i bought one of these last year at you-do-it electronics but it ended up being so unbelievably
difficult to put the box itself together that it was set aside...forever.

this is what the radio shack kit looks like. i am learning basic things like switches right now.
this picture was taken yesterday about 10 minutes before my brain just went FUCK YOU DUDE.

so i've been struggling with this little record player for tammy tomatos room. the led at the bottom right
works and the turny thing in the middle turns as well. i made a tonearm out of a nail and PFFT.

here is what it looks like from the bottom. it's nasty. oh well it works. i am so tired i am a very tired man.

june 11th

today i made a fun little aquarium for a short shot. i'll greenscreen myself looking into this aquarium
each of the things in the aquarium is a toy. that's it.

june 9th

i have been working very hard the past few weeks and that's why this isn't getting updated
as often as i would like. i'm trying hard though, trying hard to make a quality piece of entertainment
for the people

above is how my little town looked when i left it this evening. i've begin a starry sky. it's christmas
lights behind a black felt drop. i really like the way it looks. i have another strand of lights which i will put up
and la de da. i am looking forward to shooting the scenes with this little town because it's taking up
a large amount of room in my basement. i'm shooting alot of stuff in my basement but the lack of space means
i need to decide what to shoot and when to shoot it and make sure i have everything shot
before i move onto the next thing so i don't need to set everything up again. blah blah.

this is a gif of my streetlight. this evening i hooked each of the LEDs up to a button.
i bought a 3$ switch but it didn't work out really, i didn't want a gap in-between the lights changing.
i just wanted click-click-click. but now that i think about it, once the light was in position 3
in order to get it back to position 1 i would have to click through position 2 and that's not how
traffic lights work. i guess the buttons worked out quite aok.

this is my car now. i've decided to use a miniature car that looks like my real car.
what i was thinking when i made my other little car i'm not really sure. i was making things
alot harder than they needed to be. all this stuff is plenty hard already, i don't need to make it any harder.

the first circuit i successfully completed was an on/off button for my streetlights.
i was pleased. no hot batteries and they were on for 10 minutes. i did something right.

i also added more LEDs inside of buildings. i have a few more buildings to go.
i bought more resistors today. i needed them.

the building on the other side of the street.

this is my home in the film. i'm going to have to make it super cool cause there will be alot of shots of this building.
today i put 4 leds inside. i will put more on the roof to illuminate the ROOMS sign up top.

this is my control box so far. one of the buttons on the left isn't connected to anything yet.
the three on the right are for the traffic light, and the one on the top left controls the streetlights.

this is what it looks like on the inside. very interesting.

i am going to go animate now. goodbye.

june 8th

june 2nd

how special today was. solder solder solder what a dream.
i need to pick up a few on/off switches from radio shack and my lil' town
will be all lit up.

above are all the mechanisms which i gutted from the glow worm gummy candy i bought

and here are the button/led mechanisms inside.

i put 2 LEDs on the roof of this building behind the "rooms" sign in hopes
it'll make it look neat in the dark. i messed up 1 led but i'll fix it very soon.

this is something that didn't work. i wired it incorrectly and the solder just melted off.
oh well. i'm learning.

this is a shot of my streetlights. i'm putting lights inside 1/2 of the buildings
i hope it'll look neat when it's done.

here is another shot of my lit up town. the cool part is i can't show this much when it's lit
because the little set ends, but in the dark it's up to your imagination what's beyond the lights. that should be cool.
i think i'll get a ladder and shoot the set from the ground and wow neat.

june 1st

hello.
so i made my streetlights last night.

first i soldered a resistor to my LED so it wouldn't get cooked.
(i've cooked alot of them cause i don't know much about not cooking leds)

then i took the plastic shells from my color crackling balls fireworks and made the fuse hole a little bigger
i then put the top of the LED through the hole so it would sorta be like a streetlight.

then i took a piece of plastic straw, put the resistor all the soldered bits inside so they would stay put
and filled it full of glue.

this is what it looks like in the dark. a nice circle of light.

i made a total of 6 street lights and spraypainted them.
now i am going to go drill small holes in my little city and fasten the streetlights into the street.
solder all the wires together and see how it looks.

i've also been experimenting with lights inside of buildings. i've bought multipacks of LEDs and i've been
juicing them too much. i will learn. i like learning.
